Submit.com Becomes a Socitm Partner

We’re pleased to announce that Submit.com has become a partner of Soctim, supporting its mission to help councils deliver modern, efficient, and citizen-centred digital public services.

Soctim plays a vital role in shaping best practice across local government particularly in digital leadership, transformation, and the development of shared capabilities that enable councils to work more effectively.

As councils continue to navigate financial pressures, rising demand, and ambitious transformation agendas, there is a growing focus on reducing fragmentation, improving governance, and making better use of data across the organisation. At Submit.com, we see grant management as an important and often overlooked part of that picture.

Grant Management as a Digital Capability

Across many councils, grant programmes have historically been developed in isolation, with different teams using different processes, tools, and reporting approaches. While often well-intentioned, this can lead to unnecessary administration, limited visibility of funding activity, and challenges in demonstrating impact.

Submit.com’s work with councils has shown that grant management is most effective when treated not as a series of standalone programmes, but as a council-wide digital capability one that supports consistency, transparency, and efficiency while still allowing services the flexibility they need.

Why Soctim partnership matters

Partnering with SOCITM in 2026 reflects our shared belief that:

  • Digital transformation is about capabilities, not just systems

  • Technology should enable better outcomes for both staff and communities

  • Councils benefit most from peer learning, practical insight, and real-world experience

Through this partnership, we look forward to contributing to Soctim events, webinars, and discussions sharing lessons learned from councils that have modernised their grant management processes as part of wider transformation programmes.

Looking ahead to 2026

In the coming year, we’ll be working closely with Soctim and its members to explore:

  • How councils can move away from fragmented, department-led grant processes

  • The role of shared data and digital platforms in improving governance and reporting

  • How reducing administrative burden can free up capacity to focus on impact

Join us on February 11th when Soctim and Submit.com are hosting a peer-led webinar with Suffolk County Council exploring the challenges with treating grant management as isolated programmes and why a unified, council-wide digital capability aligned to wider transformation priorities makes sense.
