Form summary report
Choose exactly which data to include from three groups: application properties such as names, emails and assigned reviewers; answers to any application question; and the internal appraisal or office-use form your team completes.
Filter by folder, status, date range and tags, including excluding a tag, then generate the report on screen or download it as a comma-separated values (CSV) file, which is emailed to your account.
Reviewer performance
The scores report lists every score by reviewer and score bar, with search and date filters. It shows whether one reviewer is consistently harsher or more generous than the panel, whether all assigned applications have been scored, and how each criterion contributed to the result.
The applications report adds a scores column alongside tags and grant tracking, so scoring can be read next to each application's status.
Breakdowns: charts and maps
Breakdowns turn answers to multiple choice, multiple select, yes or no and location questions into graphs, and location answers into a map. Filters on each breakdown let you see, for example, how applications from one region split by category. These charts are a quick way to show a board who applied and from where.
Funding and recipient reporting
For grant programmes, Submit.com grant reporting software records money awarded and paid against each application, so finance and programme teams report from the same figures.
Funds disbursed
Grant tracking is switched on per form, or per phase on a multi-phase form, with a budget for that form. Each successful application records the total amount awarded, and the budget remaining updates as awards are made.
Where a grant is paid in stages, each drawdown is entered against the application and kept as a record, so the amount paid and the amount still due are visible for every recipient.
Recipient reporting
Because grant tracking appears in the applications report next to tags and scores, a recipient list can be cut by any tag you use, such as funding tier, area or target group.

Set up a round so its reports answer the questions you will be asked
Good reports are decided when the form is built, not when the board asks. These five choices make the biggest difference to what Submit.com can report later.
- Ask reportable questions. Use multiple choice, multiple select, yes or no and location questions for anything you will need to count or map, such as category, area or applicant type. Free text answers cannot be charted.
- Plan your tags before the round opens. Tags drive most filtered reports. Auto-tags applied from answers, such as funding tier, electoral ward or region, mean every report can be cut that way without manual sorting.
- Switch on grant tracking for the right phase. On a multi-phase programme, enable grant tracking on the phase where awards are made, and set that phase's budget.
- Set up score bars to match your criteria. Each score bar becomes a column in the scores report, so name them as you will want to report them.
- Build the post-award phase at the start. Agreeing the progress or final report questions when the programme is designed means recipients know what they will be asked, and outcomes are collected consistently.
