Dr. Taysom’s insights on the wider context, key regulations, and practical steps for developing a plan were extremely valuable.
It’s clear that the corporate sustainability reporting landscape is undergoing a rapid shift, with mandatory disclosure regulations like the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) coming into effect. Dr. Taysom’s overview of the CSRD, as well as other important frameworks like the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR) and the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD), provided a comprehensive understanding of the evolving regulatory environment.
The suggestions she shared on developing a plan to address these new requirements, with a focus on the CSRD, will be incredibly useful for businesses looking to get ahead of the curve. The resources she highlighted from organizations like the SME Climate Hub, We Mean Business Coalition, and EFRAG will also be valuable references.
